Team Leader Announcement: September #5
Justin lost his Aggie Ring at Twin Creeks Golf Course in Cedar Park. He was near
a water hazard when the ring came off and could be either in the shallow water or
in the grass. The course is closed on Mondays so that would be the best day to
search.
Thanks, Scott
Paul Krugler's first attempt, dated September 28, 2026:
12:39 PM. Talked to Justin. He is still out there. While the course is closed, he was helping
with a charity golf tournament. He will get a bite to eat and meet me in the club
house parking lot at 1:30pm. He was throwing a ball to someone who hit it toward
a water hazard, which is ankle deep he said. Anyone available is welcome to help!
5:28 PM UPDATE. Three hours and no success. Justin will contact the country club for permission
to return next Monday morning (the next day the course is closed).
He knows exactly where he was standing next to a shallow little creek when he
threw a golf ball and felt the ring come off. Couple of photos of the area are
attached. There is very little chance it was picked up. Everybody on the course
was riding golf carts and stayed on paths.
I will let everyone know when the followup search is solidified. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. There is quite a bit of area to cover since it could have
gone any direction.

Paul and Debbie's Second Attempt, dated September 29, 2026:
8:53 AM UPDATE. The course gave Justin permission to go out there again today.
I will do so. Debbie can be there at 10 so that's the time we plan to start. If
anyone else can join that would be great, even if it is a little later. There is
plenty of area to cover since rings can fly any direction when throwing something.
12:22 PM UPDATE. Success!! It was found stuck on a vertical portion of the creek bank
with quite a bit of vegetation. Found it with a Pro Pointer. Justin made a very
nice club donation.
